As the fallow craves the waters of the forest, so do I long for You, Elohim. My entire soul comes before my mouth and thirsts for Elohim, for the One who lives eternally. Has the time come to see the Eternal One? Tears flow from my face day and night, it is the only thing that feeds my heart as the darkness taunts: “Where is the One you worship?” Memories flow from the depths of my heart; when I would walk on the roads of the True One, when we would all sing songs of thanks to the One. Soul, why are you depressed? why are you forgetting His goodness? Awake and wait for Him! Once more give thanks for His saving and His timing! Though my soul is heavy and I have wondered far into the mounts, far away from the streams of the forest, I will pray to Him.
These mountain streams of deep call to eachother, like the clashing of falling water, all your waves overtake my soul. You have given loyalty and love by day and a bow of praise by night, so that I may not forget the living One. You are my highest mountain, the peak of my soul, though I plead “why do you ignore me? why must I walk in this fog? why must you allow the darkness to swarm?” The darkness has sharpened it’s edges to my bones and taunt the True One. I will plead again: “why, soul, are you in darkness? why be upset? Awake and wait for Him! Once more give thanks for His saving and His timing!
